Update on life.

It’s funny how I’ve been updating about my life here on Tumblr rather than DW or LJ. However, for some reason I feel more inspired and comfortable to write here than in any other social site, despite how it’s open to the general public.

So this past Friday was my confirmation ceremony and I really liked the cardinal’s speech. It talked about how being confirmed means that we truly believe in the forgiveness of sins. He talked about three examples in which a family member was either severely hurt or killed and how the family of the victim was able to forgive the person responsible. The cardinal quoted something along the lines of how forgiving is much better than hating and causing the same pain to someone else, which I actually agree on. I never really liked the idea of holding grudges and getting revenge. I just think that it’s too much effort and it’s going to continue a cycle of negatively and hatred. Of course what others believe may be completely different than my ideas, so it’d be interesting to hear what others have to say in terms of forgiveness.

On the other hand, I began this anime series called Casshern Sins last night thanks to Toonami. I also began to watch Hyouka and so far I’m really into both series! Both are really good and I just love the slice of life lessons that both of them share, despite how one is taken in a post-apocalyptic setting. The animation for both are really good as well! I still haven’t decided who to RP exactly, but that’s okay since right now I’m simply enjoying the plot/animation.

Finally, today I joined Nat in painting in her internship. I had to draw demonic children and paint a gradient that was giving me a hard time… but it was still fun anyway! I feel like my face is a bit darker too because the sun was directly above us… gargles…

TL;DR: SUMMER HAS BEEN PRODUCTIVE AND FUN~

Also, why do I still wake up 6:30/7 a.m… Can my body just let me sleep in?!
